Dear Customer,Recently you must have seen reports of phishing attacks on several Banks' websites. The customer is led to believe that the emails are sent from an authentic site which resembles the Banks' website. Phishing is a technique employed by scamsters to illegally procure personal information like account numbers, debit card numbers, Internet banking user ids and passwords, etc. The most frequently used method is to send a spam email to a large database of email ids say, all gmail ids or all yahoo ids. The spam email is designed in such a way as to look exactly like an email sent by the targeted company / bank. We would also like to inform you that our Bank's name will be soon changed to AXIS BANK LTD. Citing the name change, in case you receive any e-mail or a phone call claiming/appearing to be from the bank, requiring to provide your personal sensitive informations pertaining to your bank account (such as account number, debit card number, iConnect login ID & password), we request you to ignore the same. PLEASE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY SENSITIVE INFORMATION. PLEASE ALSO REPORT THE DETAILS OF SUCH SUSPICIOUS E-MAIL TO THE NEAREST BRANCH OR MAIL TO . It is our bank's policy not to seek/send such information through email OR phone call.
Please be assured that our commitment towards customer satisfaction is absolute and shall endeavor ourselves to bring to your notice any such suspicious activity to protect our bank and our customers. Meanwhile, we also expect you to follow some safe Banking practices.
Tips for password security:
1.Access iConnect only by visiting our website\
2.It is advisable to have different login and transaction passwords.
3.Change your passwords at frequent intervals.
4.Never disclose your passwords to anyone, including family, friends and people claiming to be bank employees.
5.If your passwords are lost or stolen immediately, report to the nearest branch or call our phone banking unit or mail at\
We assure you of our best services and attention and look forward towards having you as our esteemed customer.
